Stump Hunter Electronics is family-owned and operated by Matt Jones, who once worked on friends’ boats as a hobby, but turned that hobby into an official business in 2020. Matt does all the installation and repair work on the boats himself in his shop located in Camargo, Illinois. Unlike many installers, Matt has been fishing and boating most of his life, and currently uses a variety of electronics on his own boats.

Matt and his wife grew up in the Villa Grove/Camargo, Illinois area and are now raising their two children there. Their whole family loves to spend their free time and summers fishing and boating at Lake Shelbyville.
